Watched the movie first, guilty as charged. I will say, I don't believe the book and movie are too different. There's still some fantastic moments and slight adaptation changes that make this a well worthwhile read.
A bit of a bummer book, especially in this climate, would read again.

Actually? So freaking good. Loved this as a horror book, genuinely had my heart racing at times with the fear of what could happen.
After finishing this, makes me want to go look at some of his other books.

Honestly? This was loads of fun. Could maybe have edited some of the scenes to be a bit shorter, but overall a pretty great start for DC :)

I'm actually blown away at how great 28 years later was. Not only did it, have an incredibly well set up clock for the next movies, but it's a great stand-alone film by itself. Crazy ass ending paired with amazing world building. So excited to see more!
