Another old Anime Superhero forum post I think about regularly is this one and how he ultimately ended up being right about everything.

Sometimes I think about this one guy from the Anime Superhero forums who said the quiet part out loud and how we still never got that Gumball movie, and likely never will with the spring cleaning going on at Netflix.

It's also a project marred in hypocrisy considering one of the billed creators is a writer with no artistic ability who didn't even come up with the idea, as Ashley claims she thought of it 20 years earlier. Writers are constantly gatekept out of animation for reasons like this.
