1948’s “Fort Apache” is still a favorite western of mine. Very progressive for its time and deconstructive of the “Heroic Calvary Commander” troupe. It’s well forth checking out 📽️

Hey FilmSky 📽️ My Steelbook for 2004s “Phantom of the Opera” arrived. It’s an odd style of steelbook and sadly is not in that good of condition after 20 years. However it was the only one I could find online for sale, so I am happy to add it to my collection

📽️ Joel Schumacher’s “Phantom of the Opera” from 2004, is a masterpiece, and I am so glad it’s starting to get more recognition.

Emmy Rossum has one of the best voices in Phantom history, and Gerard Butler turned in a nuanced performance bringing a searing humanity to the man behind the monster.

Norm Macdonald dramatically promising to go on a hunger strike only to dive into a bucket of chicken seconds later will never not be the funniest thing to happen ever

Well FilmSky 📽️I Watched “The Out-Laws”

Some good action, a few good laughs, Nina Dobrev and Pierce Brosnan. It’s weirdly crass in a way that does not fit the tone of the picture, and Adam DeVine feels miscast. It’s a serviceable late night comedy, there are a lot worse movies to spend 97 minutes on

Now watching “Justified City Primeval” so good to see Raylan Givens again! 📽️

🎥 I love Ethan Peck’s portrayal of Spock in Strange New Worlds and Discovery, as someone who has neurodivergence, it was such a cool moment when Discovery revealed that Spock suffered from the Vulcan version of Dyslexia.

Seeing someone like me represented in my favorite franchise was so great!
