Great walk the other day, up to the ruins of Hollinshead Hall in the Village Tockholes. Also the pretty much intact well house. The hall's history goes back as far as 1311 and was demolished in 1761. Would love to see a painting of what the hall looked like in its prime.

Been out in Liverpool tonight to celebrate 60 years since the birth if the Moog synthesiser. Will Gregory from Goldfrapp leading the Will Gregory Moog Ensemble. Much twiddling squeaking and fizzing along with a large portion burbling and whooshing. Splendid time had by all.
