So, during the first 6 months the of Trump I just could not stop doom scrolling. Got majorly depressed. Gained 40lbs. Moderated social media intake and started just plowing through projects and tasks. Lost 25lbs and still losing.

Give me two years of AOC as president, Wyden as SML, and Pramilla Jayapal as HS and the legislative wins you could stack would be unparalleled in modern presidential terms. Not necessarily ideal person for each role but probably best you get with current name recognition and party rank.

I love that “to the moon” became a meme sort of mocking relentless, unjustified capitalistic optimism in every asset sector and now we’re just doing the fucking meme for real.

Have a hard time keeping up with *looks around* everything, especially niche social media virality but this made me wonder if the person that was making those short form song videos explaining how random things work got milkshake ducked?

Feel like this is one of the main consequences of having so much discourse move online. Simply no way to address a lot of topics with anything less than a long form article or book. Think one day anthropologists and psychologists will look back on this as an era of thought compression and confusion.
