Ha yeah “Inland Empire” east of LA to Palm Springs. “The Valley” north over the Sepulveda Pass, “the grapevine” a mountain road north of that dropping into the Central Valley, which goes from the grapevine to Sacramento, the same “big valley” of Lee Majors/Barbara stanwyck tv show.
