Both knees failed again. Third surgery was Friday. We got to visit tonight! He's been up and walking today but is refusing to eat. He tried to get up when we tried to leave :( this is our last shot at saving him so everybody pray for Banjo!

Baby boy is home! He has to live in this pen for 8 weeks because he can't be trusted to not walk around alone.

And he's not coming home today. Emergency surgery for somebody else meant his bandage hasn't been changed and won't be til 11 pm. But they are waiving the hospitalization fee for tonight so it's okay. Tomorrow morning he's coming home hopefully for real this time

He did not come home yesterday. Because of the necrosis you can see through his leg to the plate they put in 🙃 they wanted to keep him one more night. He comes home today though!! He'll be back every day or every other day for wound care but he gets to be with us and out of the ICU at least.

For those that don't know, Banjo had bilateral TPLO surgery on the 22nd, it failed on both knees. His knees were fractured multiple times, his right tibia was fractured. They had to put his legs back together essentially. On top of this he got an infection in both legs and now he has skin necrosis!

Banjo is getting up and walking around his kennel by himself! His infection is resistant to the first line antibiotic that they had him on but now he's on a more appropriate one. He comes home tomorrow!
