You’ve expressed yourself to be just that, single-minded, ignorant & antagonistic, hence being unable to partake in adult conversation on “the other app”.

So you’re confirming this is the only incident you’ve heard of. Perhaps educate yourself before blindly defending your ignorance. Those dogs are illegal for a reason. The city refuses to enforce the bylaw because of people such as yourself, viewing unhoused addicts as “vulnerable”.
December 17, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Again, you are a very large part of the problem and should be ashamed. Denial doesn’t change facts, simply because it doesn’t suit your narrative.
December 17, 2025 at 10:38 PM
A poor young child, horrendously mauled in front of his mother, with several persons running to his aid and you’re defending the very person that caused this grotesque trauma to so many unassuming & innocent victims?! YOU are a very large part of the problem. Shame on you. Revolting.
December 17, 2025 at 10:14 PM
And a brilliant display of ignorance on your part. What the article neglected to mention does not negate the fact that the owner of said animal is an unhoused individual. She is and this is a problem. People such as yourself that are ignorant to that fact are of equal blame.
December 17, 2025 at 9:36 PM
This is what happens when the city allows unhoused addicts to use these poor dogs as weapons. They’re mistreated, neglected, in need and reactive.

Personal attacks & threats of violence are never okay. Ever. Just as ignoring tax payers outcries for safer streets and an end to enabling (which fuels our issues), is never okay. He is not the only victim. His actions have also lead to suffering of community members.

As a taxpayer, I’m fed up with funding this criminal comfort zone, while not being able to use the facility because of the people they cater to. Basic rules of society need to apply to
make it available to ALL, not simply a haven for addicts, which is what they’ve allowed it to become.
November 23, 2025 at 5:46 AM
I think it’s shameful to not attend. The amount of revenue this place can generate for our city, the place that will actually transform Hamilton, should be visited, appreciated, supported and celebrated, especially by those responsible for the deterioration they’ve created with their failed ideology
November 23, 2025 at 5:41 AM
They are not welcome. Nothing less. Welcome them, you exclude everyone else, just as it’s been for years. It’s complete BS.
November 21, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Actually seeing the space and realizing the massive income it can generate for the tax base is a worthwhile outing, IMO.
November 20, 2025 at 11:20 PM
You’ll never change my mind. Actually start helping people and not just lining the pockets of those profiting off of the demise of others. I am totally over conversing with you. Take care and maybe give a hand up, not a handout.
November 20, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Safe injection sites, ie, enablers, are part of the problem. Activists have caused more harm than good. How many addicts have been helped vs how many jobs have been created, with people profiting from addiction. Keeping people down, to make profit isn’t help, it’s the problem.
November 20, 2025 at 4:12 PM
This is the first group specifically catering to addicts & the only people benefiting are non-profits & social services. This entire term, the issues have increased massively, despite millions of dollars being spent, all while our city has deteriorated (rapidly) & become a cesspool of addicts.
November 20, 2025 at 2:30 PM
If that were the case, every city would look like Hamilton. It falls on the current crew.
November 20, 2025 at 5:55 AM
Even better news would be the relocation date before the year’s end. The area is overrun by addicts. They take over the mall, the sidewalks, the library, farmers market, strip plazas, SJA, etc. Hot spot for crime. More harm than good.
November 20, 2025 at 4:01 AM
It needs to go.
November 20, 2025 at 3:12 AM
He was voted in as a Conservative member. He should resign and let the people decide whether or not they’d still support him. This is not democracy.
November 5, 2025 at 4:30 AM
More accurately, they were told no, spent the money anyways, plan to go ahead to avoid more taxpayer backlash, as we get screwed, yet again. Spend away with zero benefit appears to be more accurate with this current council collective. Pretending to care about taxpayers - laughable.
October 31, 2025 at 9:05 PM
That’s atrocious. Shame on city hall. Again. And again. And again.
October 28, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Initially, there was endless compassion and support. They destroyed that with their behaviour. Nobody has done this to them. They have done it to themselves. They have literally bitten the hand that feeds them. Actions have consequences.
October 26, 2025 at 3:40 AM
The greatest waste is the endless resources and emergency services for addicts, to keep them exactly where they are, continuously attracting more, while also giving them free reign to trash the city. Everyone suffers.
October 25, 2025 at 6:36 PM
The level of disrespect is disgusting and unacceptable. The amount of money spent by the city for these constant repairs is going to bankrupt us.
October 23, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Your ignorance is astounding. A lot of people who don’t have retirement security - that work for years simply to makes ends meet - invest in real estate, to secure their future, as opposed to milking the government. Be fully informed before hurling insults.
October 22, 2025 at 2:29 PM
Thankfully no innocent pedestrians were injured as a result of his criminality. It’s an offence for a reason. He should have been charged. Now he’s got another opportunity to do it again. Absurd.
