It’s not there yet, but I have my fears. I’m hoping that seeing the chaos in the US now will wake some people up. Unfortunately, just like back home, it seems like a hard ask.

I know I’m late, but as one who is looking for ways to shift the paradigm of masculine identity to something more collaborative rather than competitive, I found Alex Manley’s “The New Masculinity” to be helpful.

It’s amazing how many communication skills can be traced back to good kink/BDSM negotiation skills. Solid boundaries are essential in that negotiation, as is what to do if shit we hadn’t planned for happens.

I’m an American ex-pat in Canada and have one who is also an ex-pat and at least 2 others who are worried. There is also a potential trend to the right locally and and federally.
