I don't get the obsession with tiling window managers.
What am I missing?

Sometimes I think about van life, but then I wonder where I would keep all my servers.

I would rather build a proof of concept than write a design doc.

Sometimes I think that I'm the only person who really, really does not like Next.js

Over the last year I've let the scales tip to consumption over creation. I need to cut down on all the dev YouTube videos and livestreams I seem to have latched onto.

Time to tune out the noise and be productive again.

My next project will be @adonisjs.com + Inertia.js React

I feel like I became less productive when I started watching Theo, ThePrimeagen, and others videos. Which is nothing against their content and everything about me being too easily distracted.

"Oh new video, I'll just put this on while I work..." Then I just watch the video and lose an hour.

There was a time when people designed websites in Photoshop, sliced it into individual images and exported to HTML tables.

It was a dark time.

I wrote a whole thread the other day about how I believe AI hype is over, how the NVIDIA keynote was the same as the last 2–3 years, and how consumers are bored with AI in marketing. Then I closed the tab by mistake and lost it. I didn't feel like rewriting it.

I need to practice making more interesting UIs with @tailwindcss.com. Everything I seem to make is so flat.

If I'm searching for comparisons of Product X vs Product Y and the results include a comparison on one of the products own sites, who is using those to make decisions? They have inherent bias.

Want to follow #buildinpublic founders from your country?

I've created per-country starter packs
So far for 🇮🇳 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 🇬🇧 🇪🇸 🇵🇱 🇸🇪 🇦🇹 🇫🇷

👇

Do you want…
- to be included in your countries the starter pack
- your country to have a starter pack (I need at least 7 profiles)

Then reply with your country flag

My feed is 90% starter packs, most of which I've already followed. It's because of replies.

I can't overstate how much I love building with @adonisjs.com. Everything is just so quick and easy. I added a whole new set of features to a project yesterday so fast.

New toy, I wonder if it works.
I love Amazon Warehouse but it can be hit and miss on quality.

Does @bsky.app store data on @ipfs.tech or is it just using the same tech?

"Obviously AI is going to take all of our jobs the moment that product managers can accurately describe what they want. Which means our jobs are effectively safe ad infinitum." - ThePrimeagen

This has me laughing too much.

Getting so tired of the constant scam spam on Telegram.
None of the bots I've been researching seem to be any good at swiftly dealing with spam. So I've started to create my own!
