We don't have confirmation yet that the husband is an eldritch monster, but we have plenty of clues. Like when she asks his name, his first reply gave her a terrible headache. When she asks again, he says his name is Yohan but it's clear to us readers that wasn't his original answer.

I think I would have preferred the story lean more into the gothic horror vibes inherent in the setting and premise but alas! The story so far is more about Clodan seducing Ray and encouraging her to stay with him so she can break the curse? I assume? Based on the Beauty & the Beast inspiration? 🤷🏽♀️

This is Clodan, the boundary-crossing, red flag male lead. I won't lie to you. I don't like him. He doesn't have the infuriating charm and charisma of other 🚩 MLs like Betrayal of Dignity's Damien or High Society's Cesare. He's not a black flag (yet?), but he's closer to that than not.

Our ML is Cesare. He's hot (and knows it). He's charming (and knows it.) He's rich and privileged (and uses it). Honestly, the kind of red flag ML 🚩 common to this genre of romance webtoon. In fact, his only saving grace is that dimple! I truly cannot wait until he gets knocked down a peg or five. 😤

I was curious and tested the notebook, and it tolerates fountain pen ink pretty well! Better than some Tomoe River Paper we've seen lately anyway. The Diamine Jacaranda in the Sheaffer feathers a bit, but it's not terrible.
What do you think I should use it for? It's an A6.
