Secret Samol 2020. Figure A redesign for this one lol #fattrewind
Digitally illustrated comic. Panel 1: Figure A sits in a room and looks at screens, holding a ring. Panel 2: Leap walks past the door to the room and say "Hey, Figure A! First mate! You busy?" Panel 3: Reverse shot. Figure A says "I am unoccupied, idle, available. Why do you ask?" Panel 4: Leap: "Great. Do you want a pirate hat or something?" Panel 5: Leap, contd.: "I, uh, "found" a bunch of clothes & stuff and I figured since we're pirates now we should look the part." Panel 6: Leap puts his hands in the hoodie pockets. "If you're interested." Panel 7: Figure A stands up from the desk. Figure A: "I would like a hat or something." Panel 8: Leap: "Awesome. I've got it all in the other room over here." Panel 9: Leap enters another room full of messy clothes spilling out of a treasure chest. The clothes cross over the border of the panel into a montage of Figure A trying on different outfits while Leap watches; they try on a vest and sash, a fancy blue jacket, a hat with a feather paired with a bandana around their neck, and a black jacket with a headband tied around their head. Figure A stands in front of a mirror. They say: "I think I am just going to keep the bandana." From off screen, Leap says: "It's a great look!" Figure A replies, "It is."

guaranteed events from the twilight mirage fanzine. i was like, trying to echo the three vignettes structure with the panels thing... it was also like some of the first digital art i ever did. also this was pre physical description of figure a lol #fattrewind

The structure is a mish-mash of art deco and gothic styles, with big stained glass walls covered in a mix of tecnology from different eras (dials, tapes, knobs, speakers, printers, circuit boards, etc). Big cords are plugged directly into the glass. Large weights, like in a church bell tower, hang from the ceiling. A staircase winds through the bottom two panels, and in the lowest panel at the bottom of the staircase, a humanoid robotic ficure (figure A) sits strapped in a chair looking at screens. Next to Figure A, a printer prints out a seismograph, which warps into a bluebird at the very bottom of the long sheet of paper.

i had to search my old art folder for this one but i still like it. it's teasel #fattrewind
a drawing of teasel mode from the road to partizan. she is a deer person with light brown skin, pale blue spots, and glowing blue glass antlers attatched over her nubby antlers. she is wearing a blue dress with a cape and teal thigh high socks. there is no background. vague magic-y shapes are coming from one hand.
