In Germany, France, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Iceland, public colleges are tuition free or virtually tuition free.

Being able to heat your home in the winter is not a luxury. It is a matter of life and death.

Talked to an old friend tonight about the state of things. I recalled that the tiny, rural town I now live in a few states away gives out 800-1600lbs of food every week to our neighbors.

This reminds me that there are a LOT of good people out there every day. Don’t give up hope.

Went to a local show last night where we had a great time and also collectively provided 10,000 meals to the community. We did this with maybe 100-200 people in attendance.

We can collectively build these kinds of things as pillars of our next economy starting right now.
