Namely, there's a rather brutal scene in the second Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movie where Moriarty tortures Holmes while *Die Forelle* plays diegetically. So, you know, that scans *way* more sinister to me than it clearly was meant to be taken.

Now, Voyager, in one of her voice lines, hums the verse piece for Schubert's *Die Forelle* ("The Trout"), which I recently learned is a jingle that plays on Samsung washing machines to signal they're done running.
To me, however, it has a very *different* association.

- Professor Rouseau: French Apostle. An avid parapsychologist who studied how to manipulate and influence the Collective Unconscious with the goal of manifesting cognition. Arcane Skills unknown, but are implied to include incredibly skilled hypnosis. Likely named after Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

- Animus: German Apostle, extremely vitriolic and dismissive of others, sees herself as the only truly worthy servant of Arcana. Expert in curses and ritual magic. The closest Arcana seems to have had to a dedicated "right hand" before Sophia. Named after the Latin word for resentment and hate.

- "Painting": French Apostle, Awakened or construct, highly apologetic and nervous. Can store objects inside of herself. Appears to be a member of MV at least partially out of duress. Code-name unknown.

- Hummingbird: Apostle from unknown Spanish-speaking country (likely Mexico). Morose and soft-spoken. Can influence the subconscious minds of the artistically-inclined, possibly. Name is possibly an allusion to the Aztec patron deity Huitzilopochtli, "Southern Blue Hummingbird".

- Taira: Japanese Apostle. A nonhuman arcanist in the form of a parasitic crab with a humanoid face on its back that possesses a human body by attaching to it like a mask. Extremely serious and disciplined compared to other MV members. Deadly with a sword. Named after the Taira clan.

- Hypothetik: German Apostle. A talking mockshow puppet, either Awakened, some kind of arcane construct, or a disguise for the real Apostle. Has a sullen and bullying personality. Their Arcane Skill seems to have something to do with nightmares. Named after the Greek root of "hypothesis".
