Microelectronics. Just tell me how much the damn game costs!

This is shocking. When I was 5, if I got lost and a police officer found me, I could have told them my name and address. A lot has changed in 50 years

AI is the bane of engineers' existences. Sales person gets to the CEO and convinces them to buy something that none of the staff want and causes more problems than it solves. There's a distinct correlation in our company between lack of tech knowledge and enthusiasm for AI

I'd love someone to make a reality TV show, hiring workers for different companies and, unbeknown to them, having each company run by a different LLM to see what happens. If any succeeds, proving it could do the CEOs' jobs for peanuts should get them tossed out pretty quick

This is certainly true of our company. We have an AI platform and using it in everything is a staff objective. If we don't use it often enough, we get reported to management. The CEO set that policy

The frightening thing is that Mail Online is the UK's most popular news site. I feel really disappointed about what that says about us as a people

Not for me. It's not absorbent enough 😂

I would say the Express was also a strong contender

If I didn't have family responsibilities and Brexit hadn't taken away my rights to live and work in Europe, I'd be packing my bags right now. Things were getting better and I had hope. Now social conservatives are pushing the progress we made back

That's what I'm thinking I will do. I ned to tidy the house up, find all my cycling gear and get back on my bike. I used to do over a hundred miles a week

Congrats on your progress. May I ask which approach you chose to losing that weight? I need to start my weight loss journey and I'm looking for recommendations

Of course AI can be biased. Its output depends on the input it was trained on and the system prompt (its standing instructions). If those have biases, which anything that's trained off the internet will, the output will be biased

It must be really nice to campaign for something that hurts people, knowing it won't hurt you.

Hey! Don't insult tribbles!

I hope tonight is better for you. I have a pair of Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 bone-conduction headphones. They're easy to wear in bed and they don't get in the way.

"We're doing our best to that this doesn't happen again." You are the ruler of an authoritarian country. All you need to do is say, "If anything like this happens again, the people who did it will answer to me" and the problem is solved

It never ceases to amaze me how dumb people are. "We don't like your divisive policies so we're going to vote for the party that has divisive politics as its hallmark"

I find the binaural beats sleep videos on YouTube really help. They occupy enough of my mind that most of the thoughts get pushed out
