Incorrect. Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller.

The individual who started HFH brought it to Jimmy Carter’s attention during a social gathering and invited President Carter to see its operations. President Carter was immediately on board and continued the HFH legacy.
