Get in and play the games! When I’m designing audio for a certain genre or scene I find similar media, and take that as inspiration! It helps narrow down the direction, and understand the emotion I want to replicate in a scene.

I dunno, I don’t think it’ll be an 8/10. The one most consistent thing I see in the creative space is just when you make something you truly deeply enjoy then it reflects in the quality of your content.
And that brings people! Sometimes slower than we’d like- But those are the RIGHT people.

Modern flashlights are nice! I know HL1's style can be disorienting sometimes but I think it also provides opportunities for more spooks in the peripheral region.
