Sheppy’s surgery went well and he in fact does NOT have cancer! It was a big gall stone. He’s recovering well and should be able to go home in the next few days. Thank you for the kind words and thoughts

so the bad news is, Sheppy has cancer in his gallbladder. The good news is it hasn’t spread and they should be able to operate and remove it all. We had to find a place like 2 hours away that can get the surgery done tomorrow but the prognosis is good

his gallbladder and liver are acting up and he’s got an infection, so he’ll be staying the night on an IV. Another ultrasound in the morning and hopefully he’ll be well enough to come home (and then get a job to help pay for these vet bills holy shit)
