Yes, this is a post about immigration once again. But hopefully, like most of my writing here, it’s also about truth, proximity, and what we learn when we stay close enough to see what’s real.

For now, I felt the need to respond to a video that’s been circulating widely—because its claims aren’t just misleading; they’re dangerous.

Immigration is one facet of caring for our community—but there is so much worth exploring: housing, public health, education, belonging. I want to get more personal, and create space for others to do the same. I want to talk about art, and all the ways life is enriched when we build community.
