kind of a weird change yeah, feel like Johto specifically would've made for a great "in the past" game, there's always Legends 4 though I suppose (or maybe 5, if they hold a past/future/past/future pattern?)

unfortunately for the vast majority of them, they aren't 7 year long hyped sequels to already beloved indie games, so I imagine they won't be getting the impact they're looking for !
