It's possible this affected European recipes too? Maybe families who immigrated before the wars and depression had used their family recipes until the ingredients became hard to find or rationed and then families had to pivot.

I'm fairly sure the corporate food thing often stems for war times and the great depression. Many families used ingredients like jello because it could expand the food and make it more filling. I believe that's how some foods a lot of people would consider odd like aspic or jello salad started

Breakups almost always carry and element of hurt and discomfort but this should be handled privately between both parties or via counseling or other supportive health care. I am a huge advocate for consulting professionals rather than taking to social media (Cont.)

In this specific situation, both parties were minors, and teenagers at that. It took place many years ago and these two people had made conversation about the topic and acknowledged each others feelings in the past (Cont.)

That being said, if you are in or find yourself in situation that impacts your mental health negatively please seek help of professionals such as a counselor (Cont.)

I encourage this community to take both sides into account and actively look for bias before participating in cancel culture as it can be damaging and tears us apart (Cont.)
