I love Yoshi-P but my god I find this statement to be a little silly. Obviously people have preferences over what combat style is better no matter what but FF literally exists thanks to turn based combat. Expedition 33 only proves that people are willing to do turn based as long as the game is cool

The success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sparked many a discussion online regarding whether or not the mainline Final Fantasy games should go back to turn-based combat or continue on with action-based combat. Speaking to Anime New Network, Final Fantasy producer Naoki Yoshida, said there's no clear-cut answer. Mr. Yoshida, went on to explain that there are many different things at play depending on how the game is shaped and the narrative that the team wants to tell consumers.

I have become completely obsessed with this game. I barely knew anything going in other than its a long running series where all the games build into a larger narrative of some kind and after 25 hours of playing the first game I’m absolutely HOOKED

I don’t completely disagree. I do think the Switch 2 is a good step forward for now but my biggest problem with today’s Nintendo is that we don’t have people like Iwata and Reggie anymore. They made Nintendo fun and playful and we’ve lost that recently

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is absolutely incredible so far. Gets Indiana Jones perfectly and it feels cinematic without taking away the fact that this is a VIDEO GAME first and foremost. Can't wait to play more!
