Never thought I would, but i've gone ahead and tried installing EndeavourOS today. There are a few things I miss from windows but I'm sure i can find alternatives, make my own or get used to the quirks. Gone ahead and made my own top panel which definitely looks a bit better on a wider screen.

The background is a dark blue and the only thing showing is the date which is 15:32 Monday 5 May which show in a lighter shade of blue.
