(Having said that, the "Presidential Alert" really triggers me now. I feel like a governmental alert, or something of a national alert would be better, and not "that person sitting at the top says so", whether or not they are good chaps)

@pamelafox definitely the RAM matters. My M1 Pro 32GB runs that model above 20 tokens/second.

Testing with Open WebUI so I can set that model against others in blind Arena Mode, let's see how the quality is as well, not just the speed. 🤔
OpenWebUI interface for testing gpt-oss:20b model, showing the response to a simple "hi!" and highlighting the timing metrics, such as about 21 response tokens/second on this machine.

My Obsidian Sync renewal was just due, that means 2 years with #obsidian now.

The garden is growing both in size and quality - and the way things look this 3rd year should be growing in terms of impact :ac_thought:
