I got my hands on an original Volks Lady Sylvie (the first one from the first Home Town Dolpa ever) and can't decide if I should repaint her or not. She's not fullset or anything but still has her default faceup and eyes.

I did a completely freehand #crochet slouchy beanie hat this past weekend. Should have made the band a little thicker, but it's not bad.

Did an informal tutorial on Tumblr for how I curl #mylittlepony #mlp hair. This looks pretty close to factory curl, though the twist is in the opposite direction.

Anyone that's been around me long enough knows I absolutely despise polypropylene #doll / #mlp hair because it feels horrible, is unruly, and tends to fall apart after a few years.

While much rarer, nylon can crumble, too.

Modded and repainted a Goodreau Mad Hatter. He fits into my collection a little better, now. He needs a wig, though.

I'm playing around with recycling yarn.
This was someone else's rough attempt at hand spinning that I thrifted. I'm honestly tickled by getting to see someone else's early yarn 🧶.

I picked up a #bjd #Bebell Lira head recently and am having a hard time finding any owner photos of the brand, let alone the sculpt! I'd love to see more photos.

Her sealant was thick and waxy, and she was difficult to scrub clean. I see another blob of something's gotten on her eye.... #dollsky

My old had, which I #knitted many years ago from cotton yarn frogged from a thrifted sweater and dyed with easter egg dye, and my new hat which I knitted just now with acrylic yarn frogged from a thrifted, undersized blanket.
