I walked past a beauty salon recently, which had "GLΛM" above the door. Though clearly meant to be "glam", my brain automatically interpreted the Greek lambda (Λ) as the STRUT vowel /ʌ/, giving "glum" instead – rather unfortunate branding for a beauty business!
