oh! I remembered your quilling things a bit ago and made this hollow knight one as my first attempt. Definitely need to do more of them, so pretty wall deco and really fun to make!

First time I 3-0'ed my own cube!
The mama base definitely was too janky to play four colors, but I got lucky and only lost one game to it. Really loving Rule with an Even Hand, the upside is strong but the downside is so real, you really need to build and play around it well to make it work.

Apparently Skullscorch also is a card that exists?? Might be more what you're looking for. Random discard always feels so awful to lose against though :/

I'm already enjoying thinking about potential includes too much, I'll have to build my own list at some point :D thanks for the inspiration!

Have you considered Khorvath's Fury or Wheel of Misfortune? They don't offer discard to avoid the damage, but in a tight countermagic based matchup having to gamble on what you might get vs what you already have can feel pretty similar. The symmetry also feels like it adds interesting game play.

shout out to @thanda.bsky.social for not only making beautiful art but also including a bunch of free goodies in my order! Both prints on the bottom left, the bat bookmark, the horse sticker, and the super pretty business card!
I even was on the verge of actually ordering the foxes, I'm so excited!!

It's great that in Python everything is passed by reference and even bultin objects like ints are fully mutable, otherwise you wouldn't be able to easily implement a function to increment/decrement things like this since the called function could only modify its own internal copy of the value.
