Basic rundown:

I like games, sci-fi, horror, Gunpla, working with my hands, art, anime/manga, music, guitars, getting lost.

Don't expect much outta me regarding politics or sports.
I really wish I had bought one of these back in the day. Maybe I'd have played through a lot more RPGs, or maybe it would've collected dust. If I ever see one, I'm getting it. If not, it'd be easy to make one.

Little bro found an airbrush rig and brush at an estate sale, had to remind him I already had a setup and got the same brush at 1/4 of list price a long time ago.

Of course, it also reminded me that I need to get off my butt and get my house straight so I can have a workstation.

A few months back, a cat started hanging around work, only seen at night. She had kittens and was out more during the day. Been looking after them for a month and a half. The kittens are finally less skittish and more curioius about me. Thought there were 4, but a 5th made itself known.

I get asked on occasion when I'm gonna hook up the SNES so we can play Pop'n Twinbee again. They remember the cute graphics and pew pew, but forget how utterly long the levels are.

I love the game, but I've seen the "Are we there yet?" look from everyone I've introduced to it.

Sales reps like taking up your time, but hate waiting around if there isn't a big score involved.

The secret to getting rid of them is going to the bathroom. If you're already in the bathroom, spend another five minutes on the toilet and they'll magically disappear.

When someone requests a crucial tool and it's out of commission, I have no problem telling them it's out for repair and which jobsite tore it up. Maybe if they start yelling and pointing fingers at each other, they'll take better care of the $18,000 toy...but I'm not holding out hope.

I'm really being surprised by customer service at some companies lately.

Credit card borked out while trying to order some nurse call stuff. After the 4th attempt, I decided to wait until tomorrow. Seconds later, a rep called me direct to try to help me resolve it.

I don't even know why we bought lime leaves last time we went grocery shopping, but I threw some into the pot when I was making 15-bean soup last night. Not bad at all.

If you think you have a problem with buying kits when you're not building, I have over 130 unbuilt kits stacked up. It's actually a blessing that Hobby Town USA stores aren't closer and that Hobby Lobby keeps a low selection, especially with their 40% off specials. #gunpla

What I plan to do: game, dust off my other bass and see if my amp really has a problem, work on my model kit catalog.

What will probably happen: suffer through migraine and accomplish nothing except grocery shopping.

Everything's quiet and smooth, so of course we get a new Account Manager for our purchasing software and some billing-breaking changes that we haven't had explained.

I'm restarting Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from scratch this week.

My last save shows Completed late November 2020, but I don't remember beating it or last 1/3 of the game. Covid took mom during that week and the world was locked down. I guess all I could do was stay put and play.

Had a dream about my boss quitting out of nowhere that was so realistic, I woke up ready to renegotiate my pay and figure out how to pick up where he left off.

He's grumbled for years, has FU money, and plans to exit in a year or so anyway, but he'd warn and prep me before jumping ship. I hope.

This is not my photo, but this is what it looks like when you're not at the right angle.

It rained quite a bit while we were in Japan, being Spring. However, it was always at its worst when Gundam was involved. Trips to both statues? Rain. Going to the Gundam Base shop? Rain.

It became an inside joke to our friends there, even after we left.

"It's raining. Who said Gundam?"

I was lucky enough to see the full-size moving RX-78-2 Gundam in Yokohama five days before they closed it down to dismantle. It was hard to get shots. Wind/rain were horizontal and I was fighting an umbrella.

It has been moved to Osaka for a long event, in a fixed pose and without the dock.

Sifting through pics of my Spring trip to Japan, came across this.

This is the entry to teamLab Borderless in Tokyo, an art installation that encompasses the entire building.

The title is painted on the walls and ceiling, so I had to find the right angle.

Wait, what's that extra follow in my list? An auto-follow? You can't fool me, admin. I know who you really are.
