Anti-science people prove what we all know: that people who don't understand science are bound to ignore it and/or make false claims about it. It's a process, not a belief system. It doesn't run on faith; it runs on evidence. I love when ignorance continues to be proven an issue 🙄

Are you implying that suppression of problematic works is somehow comparable to bigotry ("the ways of the people who hate us")? I'm not sure what that last comment meant and I just wanted more clarification before I responded any further. Apologies if that's not what you were saying!

I don't know about the book itself being "moral." If it's got bigoted aspects of it, it should be criticized for the harm that it causes to the community that it harms. What can be gained from problematic works? Knowledge on how *not* to write
