My first proper fighting game main. I'd played fighting games on and off very casually before, but Strive was the first one I sunk a lot of hours into and it's all thanks to this guy. I am now an indoctrinated glue eater. I love the way his moves are animated so much.

#3 - Yusei Fudo (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds)
There were quite a few Yu-Gi-Oh characters I put in this slot, but Yusei takes the cake for me I think. I love 5Ds (even if I do have some gripes with the anime post Dark Signer arc) and I just vibe with Yusei so much. Love the way he looks, love his cards.

#2 - Cooler (Dragon Ball Z)
Favourite Dragon Ball villain (despite his non-canon status). I love his design, loved playing as him in FighterZ. I prefer his original body and especially his Fourth Form, but I'm also a big fan of Meta-Cooler.

Always have and always will consider him peak, and I'm so glad SEGA have been doing his character justice lately after so many years of getting his character wrong. Would not be as invested in the Sonic franchise if Shadow wasn't in it.
