I’d say that depends on how long the publication process took. When it’s 6-12 months stuck in review and back-and-forth revisions, sometimes that introduction was written 2+ years ago.

I don’t know the reference but hopeful for the story.

If the internship can’t show a structure where there is support and professional development for interns….its not worth it. I am sympathetic of programs with little money but the ability to communicate “you will learn XYZ skill set to make you competitive for [job/school] is bare minimum.
