I'm not familiar with American terms, bc our stuff is different here, but there's also tutoring if you can't do teaching. Sometimes you can set your own rate depending on the website. I went Freelance advertised on the Canadian version of Craig's list and tutored local highschool students

You can teach ESL. Teachaway is an ok website to search for available positions and let's you filter by remote. Some only require any bachelor's degree

That's not fair to you at all. Sounds like he has some things to work on in therapy to get over that discomfort. He has to be willing to try though. I'm very specific with my partner about what I do and don't want when upset and in meltdown and it helps bc he doesn't have to guess in the moment

It depends if they are neurodivergent as well, but regardless there should be some work put into learning to recognize when your partner needs something, especially if you've brought it up

A good domme will work out with you exactly what you want and dont want in advance, triggers, phrasing all that. Trust is key. I think it could be good for you with the right person and a lot of communication and introspection

I think that's a natural and common response. You're not doing grief wrong. Your brain is doing a good job protecting you. But you may want to take some purposeful time to reflect if the numbness is getting to be too much
