Lol Elon took that chainsaw of his to the research division that monitors weather. Tell me how is "preventing us from knowing when a hurricane is coming and where it will hit" a solid foundation? He also tried to axe all aid to nations outside the United States but I guess those people don't matter

I mean I'd argue it's less an American company and more a laundering front for green money coming out the government. Tesla's EVs are impractical and they deserve to replaced by something better.

If everyone's pay and quality of life improves it won't be as bad or even potentially bad at all. This is why things like single payer healthcare and subsidies and price control are important. We need to all become richer together through communal benefits.

War is unpopular and thus he'll see resistance from folk who see the war as a drain on what will most likely be in the future an economically fragile nation, especially if it goes poorly or if he targets NATO allies as part of his campaign. The US hasn't faced a military peer in a long time.

Yes I get that, I'm not talking about how he gets his warm fuzzy feelings I'm saying that the things he does should be capitalised on for getting the people to oppose him to get people to see him differently which is important to resisting him and his.

Ita not so much about what he wants as it is how people will look at him going forward. As I've said wars aren't popular, if he starts a war even against places the US population don't see as allies its going to negatively affect him.

Plus wars are unpopular at the best of times nevermind wars on supposed allies with somewhat peer military strength. The US won't walk away a winner regardless.

I doubt I'll be harms way but thank you. Still I'm hoping their rampant dismantling leaves them reigning over something they have less power over. Meanwhile we can try and keep people safe.

Like not to say things won't be speeding back to the 70s or that there won't be serious strife but we gotta force them to own it, they want to dismantle government agencies and that will limit them after a point too. State reactions are also important. All that said stay safe over there from the UK.

There's still limitations but we all knew they were gonna flood things with garbage, it's a matter of if the broken system they create eventually buckles under them, gutting agencies and systems cuts both ways and all that.
