I can’t believe we still have to be saying this but VALENTINO ISN’T REAL. People can enjoy characters who do horrible things. Fiction is escape, fiction isn’t reality. if you cannot grasp that you don’t have the maturity to engage with media, and especially the REAL people involved in making media.

I saw someone try to argue that my point was invalid because fiction effects reality, but it’s funny how that argument is always ignored when people express how things like Hazbin make them feel seen or effect their real world experience positively. Maybe let people enjoy things, even if you don’t.

I think people need to understand that having a shitty abusive character in any form of media does not mean the creator condones that kind of behavior irl. Ppl keep saying “oh Val is a fave? Wtf you must be a shitty person too!” People are allowed to handle their trauma however they want…
