It took us until November to have a day when all the October birthdays were in the office, but we made it work today, and we celebrated with an orange-cranberry cake. And that’s the last of the work birthdays until January.

My nieces bought me a couple of old comic books while at an antique store with their parents. They read a lot of graphic novels, especially the 12yo, but rarely single issues. So, the 12yo was absolutely fascinated by the old ads in these. She looked at those more than she did the comics themselves.
