it took decades for me, a big nerd who loves comics, to get into comics bc of how clunky the publishing is. Before that I was into webcomics. I got into trad comics through my library. then my library stopped offering digital comics because publishers squeezed them. There's one common villain here.

knowledge is a lifeline. i understand authors but also don't understand how we can have discussions about banned books, restricted access to information, and destruction of works for capital and then also take a hardline stance against piracy
