looked me up and down and asked how much I cost. I was frightened, shocked, and felt like even though I didn't let him buy the last of my childhood, his attempt robbed me of it anyway. Stuff like this should never happen to children.

FDR had a similar background but turned out to be very good for normal Americans. I wouldn't qualify or disqualify him because of his family. He has to prove his own worth.

I heard something a while back about how our two-party system has devolved into nothing more than corporate brands — and while they appear to be opponents on the surface, they’re actually helping each other make money, like Pepsi and Coke.
