It does not have any ui or ways to program it on its own, to be clear. Needs an IoT controller, like homeassistant or one of the proprietary ones.

If by "programmable" you mean one that integrates into an IoT system - Lutron makes a few different models, I've been very happy with them, including in a 3-way circuit. You can only use *one* of those in a 3-way, the other switch has to be standard.

So, hope you don't block me for this opinion, but if RBG (may her memory be a blessing) had strategically resigned under Obama, knowing what's at stake, we would still have Roe v Wade, the felon in jail, a very different SCOTUS, and a very different world. I find that hard to disagree with.
