It would be nice to broaden the definition of political violence. Ripping families apart =political violence. Not being able to afford or access healthcare, housing, healthy food =political violence. Criminalizing lifestyles = political violence.

While I appreciate the attempt at nuance, this is not the time. Playing the “game” of objective journalism when dealing with an organized criminal cabal isn’t objectivity. It’s simply naive. Call this what it is - oligarchy and corruption.

No one person should control so much wealth. It’s a result of the oligarchical capitalist system we’ve created and holding wealth as a primary measure of success.
