Why? Historically, Dem numbers get better as early voting progresses, yes?
October 31, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Suffolk poll is laughable. Early voting trends have all been in Dem direction, including in Bergen. Dems are beating 2024 numbers across the board.

Important that we not forget that end stage fascism always brings us to the same place.

In case you were wondering, this is not legal.

Hadn't heard that phrase before. I was honestly aghast that Hillary Clinton was belittled for carefully preparing for her debates, giving us dumbshit headlines like the one below.

I don't know, this is their statement according to Reuters. Sure sounds like they are taking a jab at Trump.
October 10, 2025 at 2:12 PM
I don't know. According to Reuters, they were pretty much giving him the middle finger in their statement. They don't have to say his name for us all to read between the lines.

Absolute insanity.

Can we not? It's one poll, an outlier, by a right wing pollster.

This is despicable.

Stuff our brains think about when not fixated on a dying democracy. (Frozen lamp posts also a big no-no.)
August 26, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Unfortunately, these days, you need a supermajority to pass that kind of legislation. Last time we had a supermajority was under Obama but only for a short time. They used it to pass healthcare with saved millions of lives. Dems get a bad rap for a lot of things but they do try to do big things.
August 20, 2025 at 12:31 PM
If you are using Axios or Politico as your source for bashing democrats, you might want to rethink that. This is some real 1940's Germany kind of stuff. Don't let them turn you into a useful idiot for their propaganda.

No, they did not have a Senate Supermajority under Obama. This is a myth. I have linked a screenshot from a HuffPost article explaining this. They never had the votes. Sorry.
July 15, 2025 at 1:53 PM
Hmmm, where have I heard that before.

Socialism is a state-controlled economy in which the state controls the means of production (factories, offices, resources, & firms). Socialism is authoritarian by nature, democratic socialism is not. Quote from DSA website below.

No. It doesn't. The regulation is weak & the oversight is lacking. There's not enough of a regulatory structure built into the system to make sure the reserves are being held. Rolling Stone is one of the few media outlets that properly covered the inherent risks. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
