He asked, shaking off his jacket and hoodie and plopping down back on his car seat so Enjolras only had to lift his shirtsleeve to get to the bandage.

Terminal patient, it could be- nice? To be more- civil? If only just for a while. So he ostentatiously mimed zipping his mouth shut instead, and then "zipped" it open again to bite from his croque, never able to resist being the class clown just a little tiny bit.
