I think it would have made more sense in the story if they wanted her for questioning then everyone realizing she was the cause when she exploded with rage and another portal opened.
Also, I found it odd that the scientist's main concern when she tried to open another portal to save her grandfather

I found it very odd that everyone automatically knew that main character (MC) he was the cause of the rift in space-time opening up.
Why would anyone assume a portal would have a biological origin?

I have live sound experience, not so much content creation. If it’s for speaking like at a computer I’d recommend a mic boom and a Shure SM58. A LTT video recently mentioned the Shure MV7X Microphone for podcasting which might work better than just an SM58. If they’re speaking farther away
