i’ve got a lot of feelings around this project. and i’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection in general, but i’m happy that everyone surrounding this era of my life is still with me, despite how turbulent it has been.

my album, Forever, For Now was born out of queer, trans, furry, non-monogamist, non-conforming love. About how to navigate those complex emotions, feelings, and acknowledge them. The one year anniversary is coming up, and I had planned to announce the deluxe version later today, along with the revival of my online festival, FeatherFest to start up this weekend. Obviously. Things are super fucking scary rn. And while nothing's changed in the immediate, I've got a lot of strong feelings that I'm now venting out through this, and through my conversations with friends. I'm terrified. That's the main thing, I guess. I'm so fucking scared for what the future holds. Everything I hold dear to me is soon to come to an uncaring, frankly boring end, in some way or another, because people outside of my control have decided that it's in their best interest. As doomer as that sounds, I'm keeping a calmer head about it. But that doesn't denounce the facts of what a Trump administration / Project 2025 means for me and the people I love. Forever, For Now (Deluxe) is up early on Bandcamp. It's free. I want to recognize that despite the hardships we're about to endure, our stories, our legacy, our LIVES still matter. At this point, I can only scream out, this is how I'm choosing to do it, by giving away this piece of pure love and narrative that stands for the people and things I hold onto now in this time of desperation. I hope by doing this, I can provide some comfort, some reminder that we're not alone, we all still exist, we're not just statistics or mistakes or wrong but people with storied lives that DESERVE TO LIVE AS WE ARE Every song on this deluxe is a scrapped story, or a scrapped version of a song that made the album. "forever" is centered around a demo I made after walking through a park holding my partner's hand for the first time. "everchanging pasture" was written at 6 in the morning when I held my partner close after a rough night. We matter. We are here. We will …
