I thought I’d take a crack at posting my work here. As of now I am a college freshman and a art student(Specifically in the games/animation department, aspiring to be a game developer) Hopefully to make a name for myself.

So, this was an unused character design. At that time, we had a mid term animation presentation that needed us to say what we wanted to do for our end term stop motion animation. And so I asked my teammates to come up with ideas. I had two, but the one I actually drew was this one. This one’s story or world building revolves around the game 狼人殺. And my settings for the character design is that you have to play one of the roles in that game, and your character needs to be mostly human with little animal traits. I chose the witch, and an animal I’ve always thought represented me were crows. I originally wanted to give her a beak, but it didn’t look too great, so I settled with a normal mouth. I’ll probably repurpose her one day, note probably. This one is also from my Photoshop class, you can tell I had a lot of fun with this one😂 Best song to watch this to is because I got high lol. I drew this pretty last minute before Halloween. And because of another homework of mine, I kind of liked the thought of drawing things as it’s basic shape first then erase it to start showing the whole picture. Honestly, a fun practice I would recommend. This one is still in working process and I am SUPER burned out at the moment🫩 This will be posted before 1/9 This line of characters lineup has the same concept of another one I made in high school. In high school, the character concept is, what’s your favorite fruit and candy. This time’s concept is what’s your favorite candy and weapon. Now here’s the thing, I don’t always design my characters close to my liking, this character is a lollipop, not exactly a big fan of lollipops, but I’m okay with it. As for weapons, it’s very on brand for me. I like blunt weapons in general , massive mallet, huge axes, and so on. This part I blame Harley Quinn.

This one had a funny story. I was laughing at my friend about his old high school department shirt being neon pink. And just to be clear, the department he was in had mostly guys. Guess why they chose neon pink as their shirt colors? Because it’s a MAN’S PINK! Pretty funny to be honest. And then I thought about myself, could I ever pull off any shade of pink. Then I thought about suits, and because I was obsessed with curly hair at that time, i drew this. This one wasn’t a finished sketch, I don’t even know what to do with her story wise really. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, in my weaver’s dream story, the characters are a mix of plants and bugs(Just like the scene ithersta from Fran bow), this is one of the characters. A cockroach. I don’t want to, but for the sake of my story, I have to. This one is also part of the characters, it’s a grasshopper. I forgot why I specifically wanted to choose a grasshopper, but I did. And fun fact, or maybe common knowledge that I only know now because I was searching grasshoppers for this project. So, locusts and grasshoppers are actually the same bug. Difference being in what situation they’re in. If there are a swarm of grasshoppers, they turn into locusts. Grasshoppers are typically friendly and solitary bugs. They are also green and are nocturnal. But once they become locusts, they release a kind of hormone that changes their color into a yellowish brown. And locusts are much more aggressive and they become diurnal bugs. Honestly, if biology classes talked about these kinds of things, it would’ve been more interesting. Just to make it clear, this is not Ai. I used photoshop and did it myself. This one wasn’t purely because I had time, and my cat made a picture perfect pose, so I took the opportunity 😂

This one is my homework where he had to pretend we were famous writers writing our own autobiography. As there are personal things in there, I’m just going to show the cover I made for it. This is the continuation of that clown character I made. I decided to make her more cute instead of in my main art style. I also gave her a gloomy mime friend, you guys can help me name him. Yeah okay, this one is very cringey. But because I kept hearing the song bark like you want it, I drew this. This was when my photoshop class finally started assigning homework to us. This one is grass texture, and because I was literally listening to the song piano in the sky, I made this.

The first link is a 3D model I made in blender within one day, I took the entire day doing that and also giving it armature bone. I aspire to learn 3D so I could have more creative expressions.

So, I was also an art student in high school, so I already know how to use photoshop. But in college, everyone is treated like a blank slate, so I had to take a Photoshop course. But at that time, there was no homework. So I was just having fun making whatever. This was also made in that photoshop class. I’m edgy/cringey sometimes, sue me. This is one of the pictures in my animation. So little info about this character design. It’s not mine, it’s my friend’s that was made in my image(I got permission from him to use it in my homework). This style is my main style, the most complicated one, you don’t often see this style because it takes me a lot of time to illustrate it. And most of my stories do not call for this kind of style. One of my favorite parts in my Weaver’s dream presentation. It’s me drawing the artist LyaLya(forgot to introduce her name) in her human form before she got into her dream and became what she weaved herself to look like.

Check my bio for a bit more detail. But this account will be used to post any art I make in college from now on. Basically, I’m treating this thing as my personal portfolio, and hoping people would like my work. Some are unfinished sketches, some are still in working progress.
This is a clown character I made at the start of college, in short, I was bored. Because the first week of college doesn’t actually teach you anything, more so informing you what the classes are about. This drawing was made because my friend said he felt like a sinking ship, so my thought process was basically, it’s okay, you can be on my boat until yours gets back together. I tend to use more saturated colors, but with this one, I wanted a calmer and muted tone. Weaver’s dream. This story’s character designs are still in progress, I’ll keep anyone interested posted. I am hugely inspired by indie games, and at the time of creating this story, I heard the news about Fran bow getting a sequel!!! This actually isn’t my first time making a work inspired by Fran bow’s vibe. I have a work called Ms.Misophonia, but that was from high school, so I probably won’t put it on here. Weaver’s dream is basically about a tapestry artist that wasn’t getting much orders, so she decided to weave things she saw. And one day after weaving herself into her work, she fell asleep at her desk and entered her artwork from her dreams, interacting with the world she meticulously created. This one was just for fun and for my friend.
