So, if you’re a senior engineer, take time to provide polite code reviews. We’ve all copied code, that’s how we learned to write code that was better!

The number one thing we’ve seen help people improve is great code reviews from senior talent. They’ll learn the same lesson we all have, no matter where your code comes from: “it probably doesn’t work right if you don’t understand it”.

Junior devs have to learn to produce good code, and they’ll steal it from somewhere same as they have been for years. And in my opinion this is ok, people must imitate before they innovate.
