I think that might depend on team size? Because I have noticed really dumb people in Battlefield asking me to revive them while under fire, but there's usually thirty more folks I'm busy keeping alive, so they're pretty forgettable

Pretty much the entire reason I stopped playing War Thunder - that game hinges entirely on spending money, wasting time, and being miserable.
Conversely, I do a lot better if I can play a support role in a competitive game. Like playing Medic on Battlefield. Awful aim, but I'm helping my team.
