Dance music as a concept really peaked when it was being made on primitive synths by weirdos who have the innate sadness that comes with being British, it’s just cratered ever since. Save for LCD sound system. They’re real good.

I really have no clue where I'll be voting from next year because I'll be able to vote from my dorm, where I'd be able to vote in elections that are actually close instead of R+40, but abortion is back on the ballot in Missouri and after how close it was last time I'm very nervous about it

I think the first time I ever seriously listened to The Beach Boys was when I was 15, I’d been grounded and had no phone, so I would listen to pet sounds over and over again on loop on my tv, for two weeks I spent about six hours a day listening to it in my room. Gifted to us by god.

I listen to music in phases, where every few weeks I’ll get hyper obsessive over a single band (or sometimes a genre) and listen to nothing but that band over and over until I’ve completely exhausted them as a resource, right now I’m doing that with The Rolling Stones
