You were created by God Himself—there is no way He doesn’t love you.

This year, I hope I can say these words to myself.

But if I heard someone say those things about themselves, I would say a big NO.
You can be anything you want to be.
Your flaws are not a big deal to others.
People think about you far less than you imagine, so you can try anything.

I don’t like being evaluated by others. It’s not that I don’t want others to place value on me, but that I don’t want to be confronted with the idea that I am a worthless person.

It doesn’t mean that I always think I can do better or that I’m driven by ambition. Rather, it’s the opposite—I feel like I’m never good enough, like I’m awkward, meaningless, or even creepy.

I think this was caused by the way I was raised.
My parents were very strict about being humble, and my self-esteem is really low. I don’t know how other people see me.

I’m going to add this to my Christmas prayer.

Even positive voices can carry strong power, and sometimes they may hurt him.
