Sucks where you live. We've got roundabouts everywhere, amazing twisty back roads, and almost no straight roads anywhere. I enjoy cornering speeds every time I get in my car. It's not just GM though. Literally every car company takes and sells data from every car they've built in the last 10-15 years, and most manufacturers give you no means of opting out.

People who care about 0-60 times are not car people. Sustained speed through a corner is the true thrill of driving, and doesn't require a fast car, but it does require a skilled driver. Any bonehead can mash a gas pedal in a straight line. Also I refuse to drive any car that only has two pedals.

You can turn your phone off. You can't turn off the data stream that most modern cars are sending to the manufacturer/insurer/data mining companies

It's when you own a thing (stocks, cars, etc) and its value increases. You haven't sold it but it's worth more than you paid (unrealized). Once sold, the gain amount is locked in (realized). Im just unclear how you tax a thing whose value is hypothetical. It only has a real numerical value when sold

It isnt just people lying. There's an entire segment of the social media population that isn't real people. I mean just look at the whole Cracker Barrel logo fiasco. That outrage was driven by bots. The fact that we're allowing politics and culture to be beholden to non-humans is terrifying
