Aren’t y’all all glad that we’re just gonna act like all conf have identical talent and there’s no reason to figure out a method to pick the 12 best teams in the country as opposed to 8 or 9 best teams, and then we give participation trophies to the winners of mid conferences?

I’m pretty annoyed with the CFP committee this year. But more so that they created a system that does not select the 12 best teams. Lots of stuff going around about the ACC or whether ND deserved it over Miami, etc. but the reality is that JMU and Tulane should be nowhere close. Math ain’t mathin’

This sort of engineered bracket is exactly the reason why they need to go to a 16 team playoff with no automatic qualifiers. SOS should be weighted much heavier. And not penalizing teams who schedule top 10 ranked teams., win those games, but get dinged b/c they had 3 losses instead of 2. BCS vibes🙄
